When I started training with Ricardo 4+ years ago, he listened to learn what I was physically contending with and why I was adding weight training to my workouts. On an ongoing basis, Ricardo takes time to understand my goals as I set new ones, plans workouts to get me there and candidly gives me constructive feedback on progress.
After working with several personal trainers over the years, I have found one that I can work with on a long-term basis to help get and keep me fit. Training never gets boring because he switches up and rotates what we do from one session to the next. He never pushes me beyond my limits by accepting some days when I say, “I think that’s too much too soon”. He knows me that well!
I’ve seen him work out with folks in their teens and I can say that he has such a full range of experience that he can inspire me, a Baby Boomer, to work out as much as he does with teens. Ricardo tailors his sessions after learning not only a person’s physical condition but evaluating what it is going to take to get a person to motivate themselves and commit to long-term life style changes to stay fit. I believe that I am more fit than many folks my age and I have Ricardo to thank for that.
